We use BIEN [well] after VERBS to mean «correctly», «perfectly» o «as it should be».
Pedro usa gafas porque no ve bien.
[Pedro wears glasses because he doesn't see well]
Mi primo toca bien la guitarra.
[My cousin plays the guitar well]
TIP💡 #1 We use BIEN only with ESTAR and never with SER.
«Estar bien» means:
1. sentirse bien [to feel good, well, physically or emotionally]:
a) ¿Cómo está tu mujer?
b) Está bien, gracias.
2. correcto o aceptable [correct or acceptable]
El ejercicio está bien.
[The exercise is correct]
We use bueno, buenos, buena o buenas in order to
1. describe positive qualities in a person's character
Mis hermanas son buenas.
[My sisters are good]
2. say that something is of good quality
Este vino es bueno.
[This wine is good]
3. speak about the good taste of something, with ESTAR
Las naranjas están buenas.
[The oranges taste good]
TIP💡 #2 Before a singular male noun we say BUEN instead of BUENO:
Fernando es un buen cantante.
[Fernando is a good singer]
¡Que tengas buen año!
[Have a good year!]
TIP💡# 3 We can use MUY [very] before BIEN or BUENO to indicate degree:
¡Esta torta está muy buena!
[This cake is very good!]
Mi vecino pinta muy bien.
[My neighbour paints very well]

Completa con BIEN, BUENO, BUENA, BUENOS o BUENAS según corresponda
